First certified LED driver for emergency lighting
An updated version of DALI standard IEC 62386-202 was published in September 2021. This DALI-2 standard, also known as DALI-2 Emergency, extends the interoperability of self-contained emergency control gear. It also facilitates integration with building management systems which can access DALI control and querying capabilities including automated testing and reporting.
As an active member of the DALI Alliance, Tridonic has significantly contributed to the definition of the new standard. What is more, EM powerLED PRO LiFePO4 1-4W from Tridonic is the first LED driver for emergency lighting to be certified under the new standard. The product, scheduled to be launched in June 2022, thus ensures full compatibility with other DALI-2 lighting components.
